Annual Christmas Holiday Arts & Craft Fair
Join us for our Annual Craft Fair on December 7th and 8th, 2024. Santa will be on site at 1pm on Saturday with goody bags for the first 50 kids.
The fair will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, featuring over 20 local artists and crafters offering unique gift items for everyone on your list.
As a token of appreciation for the community's support, we'll be serving free lunch consisting of a bowl of green chile stew or posole with red chile. Free coffee will be available, and sodas or water can be purchased for $1, with proceeds benefiting the center.

Talpa Community Market
Opening day for seedlings, trees, shrubs, seeds, compost, starters, etc. Will be May 24 & 31 full market opening day will be Fridays, June 7th - October 11th from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
Quilt And Fabric Room
We have two long-arm quilting machines available to finish quilts of all sizes, as well as wall hangings. Our quilters, Sue and Stephanie, are ready to help.
Additionally, our fabric room is stocked with donated fabric pieces, which we sell at affordable prices to the public. If you know anyone willing to donate new fabric, please direct them to us.
Our quilting group meets from 10 am to 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch, and it's always a great time.
Thursdays are open for starting new groups. If you and a few friends are interested in gathering to sew, quilt, and have fun, feel free to call us at 575-751-1014.
Library
Open Monday through Thursday from 11 am - 5:15 pm. Come in for a library card.
Over 7000 books, DVDs, and audio books. Plus, games, crafts, and puzzles in the children’s library. We also have 12 computers for patron use, and a copy/fax machine.
Summer Children’s Programs
