Children’s Programs at the Talpa Community Center & Library
We offer a variety of engaging, hands-on programs throughout the year designed to inspire creativity, learning, and connection for children and families in our community.
Summer Reading Program
Our Summer Reading Program takes place every Friday in June and July from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, featuring a mix of reading, crafts, and fun educational activities. We wrap up the season with a special End of Summer Bash on the first Saturday in August.

Saturday Craft Day
Join us on the first and third Saturdays of each month from October through May for creative, seasonal arts and crafts.
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Skill Building Classes
We offer a variety of skill-building classes throughout the year, including sewing, ceramics, and more. These classes are designed to help children explore new interests and build confidence through hands-on learning.
